"Hope is a shooting star racing fire across the endless dark heavens.
Hope is a tiny seed struggling against all to grow into something beautiful
Hope is the innocence and unconditional love bursting from a little newborn babe
Hope is life, love, death, and eternity all folded to one to be stowed away in an ancient trunk
Hope is waves carrying perfect aqua and rose pink conchs melodically caressing and crashing on the sandy shore as if to say, 'Look what I've brought you! Come and play.'
Hope is you, my child, if I leave you to journey far away and disappear into the unknown you will still be here.
Glittering like a star,
Blooming like a flower
Loving like a baby
Surprising like a discovery
Playing like a wave
We are on this earth but only a short time, although long enough to leave our everlasting hope for the future. You, child, are all I've got and you are my one and only hope."
