Timeless Stories
Some stories are timeless. We can identify with the stories no matter what time period they were written in.

Your friend doesn't believe that some stories are timeless. Prove that some are by comparing two stories. Select a story from long ago (at least 100 years ago), and compare that story to a book, television show, or movie that has a similar plot. Your proof should include the following:

  • the titles and author of each story
  • the year in which each story was written
  • the basic plot of each story
  • the basic moral/lesson of each story
  • examples of how the stories are similar in plot
  • examples of how the stories have similar morals/lessons
  • why you think the differences between specific details in the two stories, such as fashion or slang, are significant but do not alter the overall similar moral/lesson
