Mrs. Rackley, Virginia
Submitted
by Jonathan (Grade 4)
There
are so many teachers in my few short years of school that have
shown me what the meaning of the word dedication is really. She
was my first grade teacher and now is my 4th grade teacher. I am
old enough to realize people work for money, but to be a teacher
you have to love what you do. And Mrs. Rackley has shown me
and other students that she cares first about our education.
Teachers are coming and going so fast in the school it is hard to
keep up. She is there, whether during school hours or afterward.
She will call my house when I am sick to see how I am, or she
hears about a great essay contest that she thinks we would do well
in and calls us at home if the deadline is during a school break.
She wants us to get our education first and puts responsibility on
us to give us our own self of independence. Words are so hard to
explain how wonderful and dedicated she is. She keeps us motivated
and up on top of things at all times. She is very smart and also a
great friend. When we have a problem we feel like we can come and
talk with her but she also always keeps our class under control.
Like I said words cannot describe the wonderful lady, she deserves
to be a Gold
Star Teacher
and the Teacher of the world, because in my eyes along with my
class mates she is the best.

I
think Mrs. Hanlon should be the Gold
Star Teacher
because, she helps us learn more and more but she makes it fun.
Mrs. Hanlon teaches us and gets us prepared for 3rd grade. Mrs.
Hanlon also helps our student teacher Ms. Watson. Learning is fun
in Mrs. Hanlon's class room.
