Teacher
Guides provide lesson plans for specific pieces of literature
and include vocabulary words, supplementary activities, writing
prompts, and comprehension and discussion questions that utilize
higher-level thinking skills.
Student
Packets contain reproducible pages for student use, including
vocabulary lists and activities, study questions, project and
essay suggestions, comprehension activities, quizzes, a final exam,
and an answer key.

I get both the Teacher Guide and Student Packet for a title?
Yes,
for maximum benefit, we suggest using both the Teacher Guide and
Student Packet. Novel Units offers two teaching components, a Teacher
Guide and a Student Packet, for the vast majority of the titles
available. The components are designed to work together as a
comprehensive teaching unit. However, a teacher can successfully use
either guide alone. The two guides are not identical.

Novel
Units Student Packets contain various reproducible blackline
masters for use in an individual classroom. The publisher grants
permission to individual teachers who have purchased the book, or for
whom it has been purchased, to reproduce the blackline masters as
needed for use with their own students. Reproduction for an entire
school or school district or for commercial use is prohibited.
